It is the responsibility of the exhibiting company or appointed contractor to ensure that all rules and regulations are met. Contractors are required to have a layout plan available on-site for review by SEMI, the Fire Safety Bureau and SUNTEC Singapore. If any constructed/constructing booth does not comply with any of the rules and regulations, this booth will be required to make modifications at exhibitor's/contractor's expenses.
There are no union restrictions in Singapore. If you, as the exhibitor, have contracted for raw space, you may use your own bona fide* personnel, hire labor through a temporary agency, or utilize the services of the contractor that built the booth. If you are having your booth built by the official contractor, PICO Art International Pte. Ltd., labor will automatically be provided.
Installation: Hours and dates for installation, the exhibition, and dismantling are specified in the Timetable of Operations of this manual, Section l. Extended hours for set-up can be requested on-site at SEMI Show Management office before 1,500 hours. However, there will be an additional charge for the exhibit hall to remain open. Please contact SEMI for more information about overtime rates. All crates* must be tagged and ready for removal by 1,500 hours, Tuesday, 10 May. On the last exhibition day, " dismantle" procedures will be distributed to each exhibiting company. Each exhibitor will complete arrangements for the removal of exhibit material in accordance with the dismantle procedures. Exhibitors shall be liable for all storage and handling charges resulting from failure to remove materials from the exhibition hall before the conclusion of the dismantling period.
