《东方考古》是山东大学考古学院、文化遗产研究院和山东大学博物馆联合编辑的系列丛书，分集陆续出版。本丛书内容以中国及东亚地区的考古学和古代文明研究为重点，广泛吸收国内外学者的最新研究成果，体现了考古学研究的新思路、新理论和新方法。第23集收录了16篇研究论文、4篇发掘报告，内容涉及考古纪事、史前到历史时期的聚落与社会考古、生业与手工业考古、科技考古与美术考古等内容。
